Hursley Parish Council would like to say that on behalf of our small parish we offer our deepest sympathy to the King, The Queen Consort and to all the Royal Family.
Flags nearby will be flown at half-mast as a sign of respect including that of the Guildhall in Winchester.
At the County Council’s headquarters buildings in Winchester, flags have been lowered to half mast, and a public Book of Condolence will be opened at the Great Hall in due course.
The book will be open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, to capture thoughts and memories of Her Majesty, and messages of sympathy to the Royal Family, from the people of Hampshire.
Another Book of Condolence will also be opened at Winchester Cathedral.
We anticipate that a virtual Book of Condolence will be made
available on the Royal website.
